Below we will distinguish the difference between posts and pages.
When should you use a page?
In most cases, you will use posts to create content for your blog or portfolio. These pieces of content are determined by their creation date and can be organized chronologically, by tags, or by categories. Pages, on the other hand, are typically timeless pieces of content that serve to give structure to the website. For example, a presentation, contact information, or a Curriculum Vitae would typically be pages. These pieces of content do not necessarily belong to a category. When you learn how to create navigation menus, you will see that one of the typical pieces of content for these are links to pages.
