Private One of the advantages of centralizing all the content you generate in Folio is being able to work continuously in a single space that contains the experience and learnings. Obviously, the time and effort you dedicate to the CAAs and the evaluable activities deserve to be included, and that is why being able to use Folio for the deliverables is an extremely valuable resource.
On a theoretical level, this means turning your CAAs into new samples of the work carried out. On a practical level, it means being able to unify the procedures you carry out to publish in your Folio with those for uploading practices that teachers can evaluate.
How to make a CAA publication in Folio
The procedure for making CAA submissions from Folio is very similar to publishing a general entry. In fact, once it has been created and published, you will only need to make sure to use the button that defines it as a submission in the CAR.
Step 1
Start by writing your post as you normally would, and set the visibility to “Teacher” level or whatever visibility permission was given to you in the activity statement.
Step 2
Select the corresponding ActiFolio. Remember that this will allow all the content corresponding to the same subject and its activities to be unified and easily accessible.
Step 3
Submit your assignment to the RAC. Once you have the activity ready to be assessed, click the button labeled “Submit.” This will make your publication appear to teachers as an assessable submission. Follow the instructions to confirm that you want to submit your assignment.
Once you have submitted your work, you will see the information about the date and time of submission and you will be able to see it as it will be shown to the teachers. You can submit your work as many times as you consider necessary and they will appear in this section. However, keep in mind that only the latest version will be available for teachers to evaluate.
Once this step is completed, the entry will appear indicated for the teachers to evaluate, both in your Folio and in the associated Agora and, once evaluated, you will be able to see the grade and the comments in the same entry, provided that you are logged in. This post will be frozen and, even if you make changes afterwards, if you do not submit it again, only the version that you have submitted in the RAC will be evaluated.
